Messages and attachments are end-to-end encrypted in your browser before they reach Hush. A trusted device or a recovery code only you hold unlocks your encryption identity on another browser. Recovering past conversations requires an available encrypted history backup.

Account and profile details, profile photos, space names, memberships, and delivery metadata are visible to Hush. Recipients can still copy what you share. Losing every trusted device and your recovery code means losing access to your encryption identity and encrypted backups.
This website uses no analytics, advertising scripts, or tracking cookies. Hosting providers process technical connection data; Google and AWS process authentication data when you sign in. A browser app also depends on the security of your device and the code it receives from Hush.

Can I try Hush now?
Yes. Open app.tryhush.chat and continue with Google. Set up or approve your device, then start a space or join your people. Your trial includes 30 days, with no card required. Paid checkout is not open yet.
Is this another social feed?
No. Hush is organized around spaces, channels, and direct conversations. There’s no public engagement feed or ad ranking to chase.
Is Hush end-to-end encrypted?
Message and attachment contents are end-to-end encrypted. Your devices encrypt them before sending, and Hush stores ciphertext. Account and profile details, profile photos, space names, memberships, and delivery metadata are not end-to-end encrypted. Optional history backups are encrypted too; a recovery code cannot restore history that was never backed up.
How do I use Hush on another device?
Visit app.tryhush.chat and sign in with Google. Approve the new browser from a trusted device, or use your recovery code. Signing in alone does not unlock encrypted messages. Keep your recovery code somewhere safe; Hush cannot replace it for you.
